Can you feel the temperature change? You can (finally) say that Fall is here! And even though I am an island girl who loves summer, the fall season is a pretty close second to my weather preferances. Ok, so we don't get the changing of leaves in Southern California, but after the long hot summer, cool nights and anything pumpkin is a definate welcome from me.
On Friday, we met up with my brother & his family and my older cousin D & her family at the Live Oak Pumpkin Patch in Yucaipa. The kids had so much fun running around looking for that perfect pumpkin. Here's the kiddo running to join his cousin Manong (means older male) K, who's crouched down in front of his perfect pumpkin!

All that running made the kiddo tired, so he hitched a ride from Daddy!

His cousins Manang (older female) K and Manong K hitched a ride too...Hey Uncle! don't forget my pumpkin!

We found this group of pumpkins that were the perfect height for a kiddo-sized seat!

The kiddo had so much fun checking out the goats and llamas after we picked a pumpkin for him and baby dos. One goat tried to lick the kiddo but the kiddo ended up almost picking its nose! ewwww! I didn't get a pick of that, but here's a pic right before it happened. It's the black goat on the very left corner.
Afterwards, the hubs took me to Starbucks to get me a YUMMY! Pumpkin Spice Latte. Decaf of course =) I pretty much avoid Starbucks ever since I gave it up for Lent, but now that Fall is here, I make my runs to Starbucks just to get my favorite drink almost every other day. It only comes once a year, so I'm making the most of it.
Ohhh! and today, I put out what little fall decorations we have. We have pumpkins by the front door, the wreath is hung and my lil scarecrow is hanging out by the walkway. I wanted to put more up, but I think I'll do so when we return from our trip.
