This and that

I had a prenatal appt. yesterday and I brought the kiddo with me.  He was such a good lil boy as he sat in his stroller, just looking around and smiling at the nurse whenever she'd look over at him (the kid's such a flirt!).  He almost started to fuss when the nurse walked out and I had to lay down so the we could hear the baby's heartbeat.  He straightened up and looked around the room as soon as he heard his lil brother's or sister's whooshing heartbeat. He pointed at me, smiled and said something in baby gibberish.  Awwww!  And before we knew it, we were done with the appt.  Three good things... 1) baby looks/sounds good 2) I've only gained 8 OUNCES! and 3) I passed the glucose test! no diabetes!
However, I still take another glucose test sometime around 26 weeks...yuck!

OK, on the  ILs situation front. They've once again changed their minds and have decided to come out the month of September.  On the 6th.  Ten days from today.  The only thing that has stayed definite is that they will be here INDEFINITELY.  Life in my household sucks!  Thank goodness my cousin (who is more like my older sister) lives less than 5 minutes away from me.  I've already warned her that I will most likely be  a constant fixture in her home.
I am so irritated that I have to leave the comfort of my own home just to keep my sanity. You're probably thinking that I should stay and not let them get to me in our own home, huh?  If you're thinking that, then you've never met my ILs, more specifically my FIL nor have you heard the horror stories that are associated with them.  I just hope that I can get through this pregnancy with no complications from all the aggravation and stress that I am going thru.  I just have to remember that however I'm feeling, it affects the baby.  I'm just going to have to think about our Guam vacation whenever I get irritated. Or stressed.  Or aggravated. Or all of the above!
Oh! Oh! We've been working on please and thank you with the kiddo.  He can baby sign language  to 'say' please and he can kinda say 'thank you' - - it sounds like 'teee-too'!  it's the cutest thing! See, I'm raising a well mannered kid =)  I've tried catching him on video signing please, but as soon as the camera is rolling...fergit about it!  all he gives me is whiny cries. Hopefully I'll catch him soon for you all to see =)
