I must have been really preoccupied/worried about the appointment because for the first time, I forgot to bring my FMU for the nurses to test! And when I got to the dr's office, I went to relieve my full bladder before even checking in... again totally forgetting that I needed to give some to the nurse! I finally remembered as I was sitting in the waiting room. My favorite nurse came out to call on someone and I sheepishly told her my forgetfulness. She told me to come right on in and 'try'. I tell ya, being pregnant, you never realize how much you have in your reserves until you need to 'try'. Thank goodness for that! (sorry if that was TMI for ya -- the joys of pregnancy, huh?)
Ok - so from the last month, I've only gained 2 pounds! Even after all that eating from our vacation...YAY!
The baby's heart rate was nice, steady & strong.
And then the U/S results. According to the measurements, his body has caught up to his head! Another YAY! and a hella big, forehead wiping, WHEW!
He's measuring a lil smaller than what his gestational age is, so my due date may change. The NP wanted the doctor to make the call on that, so for now, we're just going to stick with the original EDD - February 12, 2009.
I have to go back sometime next week to take the yucky glucose test. (with sarcasm) yippee!
You can bet I'm raiding the kiddo's Halloween loot tomorrow!
