The kiddo got some great gifts! He got a couple of toys that in the past few days have been driving me nutso - including that unibrowed monster! but he loves it...hopefully the battery will run out SOON!
On Christmas morning, it was just the 3 of us (well 4 if you count the baby) at home exchanging gifts. The kiddo loves the Mach 5 Speed Racer car we got him. I wish I had heard of this though before we got him the Mach 5. Eh! it's done. The hubs said we should still get it, who knows, he may just get it for the kiddo. We also got him the matching Speed Racer helmet. It's still too big for him, so we'll just have to hold on to it till his noggin grows into it.
The hubs got me some wonderful gifts. I can't believe he ventured in Sephora and got me these:

He also got me a gift certificate for a day spa, among other lil things. Love them all!
The kiddo & the baby got me a hella cute Domo bag! Love, LOVE it! Here's the kiddo & I with our monsters - hehe! DOMO-arigato T & E! (sorry, couldn't help it)
Later that day, the hubs' grandparents came over. I'm not going to lie - I was irritated they did. They kept going back and forth about whether or not they were going to come up from Oceanside. Then 2 days before Christmas, they said they weren't coming. We wake up on Christmas day and what do you know?? they are coming...oh! and what will I be making for dinner? HUH?!? crap. crap. crappity-crap! After the hubs told them we'd be having pasta, they said it was fine, but I could tell they were disappointed that I didn't go all out for them, or in their words 'Roll out the red carpet like I do with my family'. Sigh. I can't win with them.
But that was just the tip of the iceberg. When they got to our place, g-ma tried to give the kiddo a piece of chocolate. He KNOWS that it is off limits to him, so he's just looking at her & the whole time, she's practically yelling to him, 'you want it?! say preeeese (remember? she's has a Japanese accent - no L's). She finally gives up, turns to me & says - 'your son - NO manners! So rude! My grandson (the hubs) - by this age, talk a lot. Maybe something wrong with YOUR son'. Oh help me Lord! I couldn't help myself. I told her - 'Uhm, well last I checked he's P's (the hubs) son too. He's OUR son. Are you trying to say there is something wrong with my genes?' Seriously if the hubs didn't intervene, I was really going to let her have it. Ugh! Holidays + the ILs = Drama! No, I take it back. My ILs (from the parents to the grandparents!) are just flat out drama...all the time! They ended up leaving early. Thank goodness.
We spent the rest of the evening letting the kiddo play with his car. He's such a crack up! Hope you enjoy.

sorry about the IL drama. Good thing they didn't stay long.
But that video was too cute! Has he learned to use his feet yet?
Sounds like an awesome xmas!
That's just so funny. I bet there will be MAYHEM when he learns to use his foot.
that is hilarious how he uses his hand to push the gas. Too funny. Sorry your IL suck a$#. We love ya though! (bad genes and all!)
awww - - Heidi - thanks for loving me - bad genes & all! I miss you!
P.S. the hand is still the kiddo's choice of powering the car. Crazy lil Asian driver! hehe!
