Coming to term...

Full term that is! yay! This pregnancy is officially full term, baby!
Initially I said that I didn't want the baby to get here the month of January because the hubs & I celebrate our birthdays in January (mine is on the 19th, his is the 25th) and I didn't want the kiddo to feel left out by being the only one born a different month...but heck! I am so ready to meet this lil kickboxer/soccer player!
ok- ok...honest to goodness truth? He is kicking my arse with all his practice moves...the worse ones are his warm-up stretches! I have to lean back just to give him his space. He literally takes my breath away when he does that. oy!
I also said that I wanted to work right up until I had him...eh, not happening! This is my last week of work! yippee!! I feel kind of bad b/c it's just a really hectic week for everyone in my department, but I'm making sure to tie up all the loose ends and I'm assuring work that I'm just a phone call away if there's anything that I overlooked. Of course I know they won't call - - they're cool like that. But I've been feeling so run down and come in almost every day looking/feeling like crap that I am so thankful that my supervisor pushed me to take off earlier than I planned. So 2 more days...well, really one..just Thursday...Friday I work for just a few hours then off to a lunch in my honor...after that? I am on maternity leave!! yippie!
