Eh - looks like the baby doesn't care to share a birthday with his dad.
Thirty more minutes and it'll be the 26th.
I wish the doctor hadn't told me that I was already starting to dilate and that I was already 75% effaced. At a time like this, ignorance is bliss.
I spent this whole weekend thinking it was time.
On Friday night, I had a series of contractions- 10 minutes apart for 40 minutes.
We hurriedly got the bags in the car, I called my brother to let him know we were going to be dropping off the kiddo, and wouldn't you know it? The contractions .... stopped!
I felt super, duper crappy on Saturday - - back ache, cramps left, right, up & down...oh! and nausea. Joy.
But I kept plugging away...doing laps around my kitchen counter (it was too chilly for me to walk around outside) and later that evening, going up & down almost all the aisles at Target. Still no consistent contractions... but I found some good deals in the clearance end racks! hehe!
On Sunday, I kept hoping to hear a 'glop' sound when I peed...I wanted to lose the mucus plug already! but nope, nothing.
The hubs is kinda disappointed that the baby & he will not be sharing a birthday. Me? Although I have 2 weeks a couple of days to go, I am ready to serve the eviction notice!
