Hawai'i 2009, part 5

Our last day in Hawai'i started pretty early again with the baby screaming for a bottle.  eh.  At least I didn't have to hold it for him.

We decided to drive by the Diamond Head Lighthouse since there were places you could stop at.  Check out the kiddo's excitement at seeing the ocean and the waves:

Wouldn't you get excited to see this?  This makes me miss living so close to the water...

We ended our day at Uncle D's (the groom) parents home.  The kiddo and I were pretty happy with the mangoes we got from their tree.  So sweet!

Their backyard/balcony had a seriously KICK ASS view of Honolulu.  Seriously.  Don't believe me? Check these out:

While we were hanging out we were awed with a beautiful rainbow. It was so huge! At one point it was a double rainbow!  Too bad we didn't get a pic of that!

And after a group shot, we were on our way to the airport!

We missed our flight, but that was ok with us.  We got the next flight out and had to go to Utah then to LAX.  Our bags didn't get lost and the kiddo even got his own seat (We didn't purchase a seat for him even though he's already 2 - - shhhhh!)
I miss the beach.  Heck! I miss being on vacation!
