Cough, cough...sniffle, sniffle - Oh and a rec!

Ugh! it's been a germ infested week for everyone in our home! And thanks to those nasty germs that decided we'd be a good host family, the baby ended up missing his first Halloween. Boo! and not like Boo from a ghost. I meant more like boo-hoo.
The baby was the first one the germs visited...totally knocking him out on Halloween night. He took a long nap starting at 4:30 pm. By 8pm, he had a full blown fever.
The next day, the germs found the hubs. By Monday afternoon, the kiddo starting going down. By Monday evening, the germs thought I should join the sick party too.

Monday night, I took the baby to the urgent care.
Fever at 103.5 and an ear infection.

Tuesday night was the kiddo's turn at the urgent care.

Fevers, coughs, sniffles...boogers. It's an awesome sick party.

To help with the stuffy noses, I tried doing the saline drops on the kiddies. Yah, well, they hate having something pushed up their lil nostrils. Unless you're a heroin user, who does, right?

Thank goodness for my 2 co-workers! They got me a pack of Boogie Wipes. I had never heard of this stuff till they gave me a pack. I think it is awesome compared to the saline drops/sprays! Not only does it get the job done, but it smells pretty good and it's phthlate and paraben free (which according to my CWs, is really the best reason).

And since the package states that it's 'gentle enough for all ages', the hubs and I have been using 'em as well.

Now I need to go out and get us some bottles of Lysol. These nasty germs need to be evicted from our home already!
