I can't believe some of the people they admit to college! Granted the college where I work isn't an Ivy League institution, but still, its a college university nonetheless.
Here's what I had to deal with this morning.
Me: Good morning. This is Leann, how can I help you?
Student: Uhmmm.... I need to know what classes I signed up for.
Me: ok - have you checked your account online.
Student: well, you see, I know I signed up for a class in your department.
Me: That's fine, but have you checked online? It should give your class schedule.
Student: Are you not listening to me?!?! I DON'T KNOW WHAT CLASSES I SIGNED UP FOR!
Me: ooooo----kay. What's your student ID so that I can look it up?
Student: I don't know! That's why I'm calling you. You know what? forget it. You're no help!

Not only was this student rude, but she's an idiot that didn't even make note as to what classes she registered for! I guess I'm supposed to be a mind reader & know who she is & know what classes she signed up for. Dang - didn't know that college students needed a baby sitter!
