Idiot #2

Woo-hoo! 2 posts for today..I'm on a roll...



Wow! just when I thought there couldn't be a bigger ding-dong than the one I had to deal with this morning...

Mind you this is a student in the Master's Degree program...



Student: Hi. I just found out that classes started last week... I didn't know...



Me: (thinking - No sh!t Sherlocks, next time go look at your schedule) OK, make sure you contact your instructors & let them know your situation.



Student: OK, uhm....who are the instructors for class #1, class #2, class #3?



So, I give the student the names of the instructors (Hey! at least he knew what classes he needs - -unlike the morning idiot!)



Student: Uhm...ok so I just e-mail them & then show up for class?



Me: Sure, it shouldn't be a problem since you should be on the roster.



Student: Oh great! so you've already enrolled me in all my classes?



HUH?



Me: Well, no. If you've registered for the class, then you should be on the roster.



Student: ooooh! (ding! ding!ding! the light went on!) I see, I have to register for the class myself. I thought since I'm in the Master's program you take care of it for me.



Are you kidding me!? how did this student even get a Bachelor's degree!? How the hell did he even get accepted in a Master's program?

FYI: Just because you are in school to get a Master's degree doesn't mean that you don't do the same thing you did as an undergrad.
