And if indeed I am in the 11th week, 'external genitalia are beginning to show distinguishing features' (Your Pregnancy week by week by G. Curtis & J. Schuler)...which means - -in about a month, they'll really be able to tell us if we're going to have another baby sumo or a baby geisha! (BTW - the hubs thinks its hilarious that I refer to a baby boy or girl as sumo or geisha... he should be happy...it's a nod to his Japanese heritage!)
So far, this pregnancy is still the same...no morning sickness...no weird cravings...I do however have momentary periods of 'pregnancy brain', major tiredness (though I have to suck it up when I'm with the kiddo), an odd aversion to water - can't stand it! it has to be flavored or forget about it! Ohhhh! and this one the hubby hates - -I can't stand leftovers! I'd rather go hungry than eat something that we had for lunch for dinner...ugh!
If I do have food cravings, they often times are very fleeting... as soon as I get a nibble of it...I'm good. On to the next!
I'm already in my second week of wearing maternity clothes =( I quickly gained 5 pounds 2 weeks after finding out I was pregnant....but oddly enough, I lost 3 pounds...so really I've just gained 2 pounds so far.
I've got a baby bump now. This weekend, someone (not the hubs) rubbed my belly. I probably wouldn't have minded, but I was sitting down...in the middle of eating, for goodness sake! seriously, it's NOT ok to GROPE another person without their consent....Boundaries, people! hmmm...maybe I'll get a shirt similar to this:
I know its too early to tell, but if I'm sitting real still, I swear I can feel the baby swimming around in there. Maybe it's the baby...or maybe it's just indigestion. But I highly doubt the butterflies in your tummy feeling is from reading an e-mail stating that my July timesheet is due! (that's what I was doing when I felt it) .... I could be wrong...maybe it was indigestion...heh.
Ohhhh! and because I've been so tired, I've been such a slug! Our poor home is littered with the kiddo's toys or stuff he's pulled out of drawers... I can't wait till the 2nd trimester so that I can have some energy to deep clean!
I can't wait till Thursday! Hopefully I'll have a picture of the kiddo's partner in crime to show off to ya'll!

I think you should get 7 of those shirts...one to wear every day of the week. I HATED those crazy belly rubbin strangers. Oddly enough, I only had 2 people who ALWAYS rubbed my belly EVERYTIME they saw me, and they were BOTH asian....I'm just saying...LOL. So when is our playdate for Sumo and Monkey?
