My dear friend Joy (finally!) had her baby girl on Monday, July 14, 2008. I don't have the details of baby Kehaulani Venessa's birth since I spoke very briefly with her daddy & I don't really want to bother Joy with a phone call until she's all settled and in the grove of things. I'm sure her princess # 2 is just as beautiful as her older sister.

A couple night ago, we were hanging out in the backyard & the kiddo was running all over the place. By the time he was done running the length of the patio, he was a sweaty, stinky mess! And maybe because my sense of smell has kicked into overdrive due to the pregnancy, I swear he smelled like.... a BOY! not a baby...A boy! I had to hand the kiddo to the hubs and walk away from them both...ugh! he smelled like sweat, sun & dirt - -all rolled into one!
ok- go ahead laugh at me. I know. I have a SON. He is a b.o.y. but heck! he's only a year old!! can't he smell like a baby for a lil while longer???!??!?
So after the hubs bathed him (and lathered him in baby wash from head to in between his toes) he was back to being my baby. yeay!
With my luck, I'll probably end up with another boy. Sigh. Then I'll have to put up with stinky boy smell for a long while.
