Too much sugar, no more spice?

ok- so i've been putting off going back to the dr.'s office to get the dreaded diabetes test... got a reminder phone call today, so it looks like i'm going to make that trip early in the morning tomorrow. wish me luck! hopefully the results will show that my sugar levels aren't too high. so, as my last hurrah before possibly being put on a restricted diet i went and had this:
so bad, huh? and since there was a baskin-robbins right next door,
i had to stop to get a scoop of jamoca almond fudge! yum! i got to the bottom of the cup and instantly wished that i had gotten another scoop....but in mint chocolate chip! too bad i had already driven off...
by the end of my work day, i was craving another treat, but i thought better and decided to start doing my sugar detox! ha!

so the dr said i have too much sugar...and the hubs? he said i've lost some spice...errr.. not exactly what he said, but he claims that being pregnant...i'm NICER! huh?
ever since he said that, i have noticed that i am nicer (gasp!). i actually have more patience with things (& people) that normally would set me off.
lately i've been so nice that i volunteered to be at the office at 7:30am just to let the movers in(our dept. is moving to another building). those of you that know me, know that in the Leann Book of Law, that is a God forsaken hour - even the kiddo knows...sleep in until almost 8 (i had to start my day at 5:30am just to get the kiddo & myself ready & of course factor in drive time!) yet, my nice pregnant self - -volunteered. damn hormones!
around 12:30 pm when i was all set to head out to lunch, one of the movers tells me that he needs help rolling a machine to our new building. non-preggers leann would have said - oh no, no, no, NO! that's your job, buddy! i'm heading out to lunch..peace out!
but in the heat of the day, my nice pregnant self once again volunteers to help. was it hella hot? heck ya, it felt like hades! was i sweating? i was dripping like a faucet, yo! i hate sweating.
that was todays acts of nice-ness.

damn! i think i've got SUCKER written on my growing belly! hehe!
