We have a due date!

We have a due date!! We should be welcoming our newest addition to the family on or around February 12, 2009!
According to measurements, baby Dos is exactly 11 weeks today. Guess my guesstimate was pretty much on target. =)
We got to see the baby swimming and bouncing around in my tummy...and he/she even gave us a lil wave! It was such a relief to see the baby and hear that everything looks GREAT!! According to the dr. the heartbeat was beating nice and strong at 173. I know there's a belief about determining the sex of the baby based on the heart rate... Anyone know if 173 makes it a boy or a girl?
We'll have to keep guessing until September 15th when we go in for the big ultrasound. Hamburger or hot dog? Geisha or Sumo?
Hopefully, ahding (means younger sibling in my parents language) will show off the goods.

And because I had gestational diabetes the first time, I have to go back sometime within a week and take the dreaded glucose test. No bueno. Makes no sense to take it so early in the pregnancy since the dr mentioned that even if I pass, I'll still have to take the 3 hour glucose test when I'm in the 20th week. I have to take the glucose test twice?!?!! bah!

We got a pic of the lil one... I think I'll wait to post a picture of the baby till we get a pic that resembles a baby versus a kidney bean. =)
