About 30 minutes age, we had a 3.6 earthquake with the epicenter a couple of miles from where I work. Winds blowing to over 35 mph plus that. Fun.
The secretary & another person in my department got a big kick when mid-sentence in our conversation, I pulled the drawer that had my purse, swung it over my shoulders and was halfway out the door as soon as I felt the the building rock. They thought it was so funny that I reacted the way I did. Uhm - laugh all you want, but if that was a stronger & longer earthquake, at least I won't be under a pile of rubble!
I know, I live in Southern California... this is nothing...Earthquakes happen all the time. Still. It's just a bit unnerving when it's a strong one.
