On Thursday, I picked the kiddo up and decided to head to Michael's to pick up some Christmas stuff. All went well until...We were about to leave. I was lifting him outta the cart to put him in his carseat when he did a weird lil wiggle (ok - not so lil) and I lost my grip on him. Thank goodness I reacted fairly quickly and caught the lil bugger before he ate the pavement! But I paid the price of bending over and catching him at a weird angle.
Later that night and throughout Friday, I was having some pretty strong Braxton Hicks (fake contractions). The hubs wanted me to check into Labor & Delivery at the hospital, but I pooh-poohed him and told him that there was nothing to worry about - -this is normal right around this stage of the pregnancy.
And so because of that - I missed the Paul Frank annual Warehouse sale on Friday afternoon (I had planned to go after work on Friday). Bummer! But then I checked my e-mail later this weekend & a gal from the forum I frequent had e-mailed me saying that the lines were 2 hours long! OK - I don't feel too bad about missing it. (Thanks, Gwen!)
Kinda glad I missed it b/c we ended up having dinner with my aunt, uncle & cousins since my aunt & uncle were leaving back to Guam on Saturday. It's always nice hanging out with the them.
On Saturday, I had planned to attend the craft fair at the Pomona Fairplex in hopes of finding something for our department secretary....but that didn't happen.
At the last second, our home was 'volunteered' to host the De La Hoya vs Pacquiao fight.

Eh- didn't bother me, my brother & my cousins who came were really good about making sure I didn't have to cook. Or clean. And they took care of the pay per view bill. See why I didn't mind?
I don't normally watch boxing, but if the Pac-Man is fighting, you can guarantee, my family is going to assemble to watch it. I'm pretty sure my neighbors thought there was a fight at our house (instead of the TV) with all the screaming going on!
We were all pretty giddy with his win, as I'm sure most Filipinos were. You see, the dude brings out some serious national pride with his accomplishments in the boxing world. And he's just so...humble about it. Guess that's what makes the guy so likable.
On Sunday, I planned to (again) try to make it to the craft fair. Didn't happen. We vegged at home till about 4 o'clock! and the only reason we had to get up and leave the house was because the hubs had to meet up with one of his drivers to give him something. The guy was running late, so we ended up going to World Market to grab some gifts for our lovely neighbors. After that a trip to Starbucks, met up with the guy and we were home by 6pm.
So nothing at all like we had planned, but still a great weekend!

I think it's funny how Pacquiao never really answers the question correctly. He needs to go to school and learn a little more english xD
Who cares about his english! He still got the job done, right? Besides, I think most Filipinos were just jazzed that he gave a shout out to his peeps - they didn't care what they asked him!
wow leaping babies are the worse. Glad to hear everything is ok with the baby.
Take care of yourself woman!
I am a long time DeLaHoya fan, since he was in the Olympics, but the Pac Man definitely deserved that win, and he was very likeable.
