Whew! what a weekend!
I started my weekend by getting a haircut (FINALLY!) from Jessica over at the Rose of Sharon on Friday. We joked around about how long it took me to finally get my ass in to chop off my hair. Let's just say the last time she cut my hair, I was about 6 months pregnant with the baby! Yikes! Needless to say, there was quite a bit of cutting that happened and since I've got really thick hair, they swept up the cut hair from the floor about 4 times. Yep, ya read that right! 4 times.
But I LOVE the end result! and I feel like my head is 5 times lighter without all that hair weight holding me down.
Anyhoo - on Saturday we planned to head over to the Bugaboo sale . I didn't realize how close it was to Mil's place until after we got to the 'warehouse' and just my luck - I inadvertently left my phone at home. Otherwise I'd have called her up to hang out. Boo on me!
We got to the 'warehouse' (really it was it was more like a studio set) at around 3pm & I was worried that there would still be a long line, but as we pulled into the street, I saw no crowds and ample parking. I thought we were at the wrong place even though there was a sign directing us to the warehouse. I asked the security guard if we really were at the right place & he assured me that we were. My next worry was would there be anything left since we got there so late? But surprise, surprise there were a ton of things left.
So, did we pick up anything at the sale? HECK YA! We got a Bugaboo Bee! Lemme just tell you, this stroller is freaken bad ass (bet ya haven't heard that in a long time)! Initially we got it for the kiddo so that the baby could use the Bugaboo Gecko, but because of the Bee's recline, the baby can use it as well! Woo-hoo!
We picked up a couple of cup holders and left the sale happy campers.
And since it was still pretty early and traffic was a b!tch, we made our way to Little Tokyo for some yummy Japanese food! Here's the kiddo getting a bite of his dad's potato croquette:

The baby woke up while we were chowing down and started to fuss. You swear, he wanted in on the yummy food we were eating..hehe!
Whenever I see cute Hello Kitty stuff, it sometimes makes me wish for a daughter. Don't get me wrong, I love my boys, but I've got a ton of cute Sanrio stuff collected from my years of being into things like that that now will just have to sit in their lil plastic bins. Sadness.I'm sure the kiddo will hate me when he's older for making him take a picture with a big ol' Hello Kitty mural. sigh.
The kiddo wasn't very happy that our Little Tokyo detour was over and we were stuck in some traffic.
But that soon changed as soon as we got home! He decided that he was going to help his dad put together his pimpin' new ride. Yes, it's yellow. Yes, we picked that color. and yes, there were other colors like red and blue to pick from. and no, I still don't regret picking yellow.
See! even the kiddo loves his Bee!
On Sunday, we did absolutely NOTHING but lounge around home. It was nice since my sinuses have been acting up. I think the kiddo got cabin fever though. He hates staying home all day. Must have been something he picked up from when I was pregnant with him - -I hated staying home and would make any excuse just to get out of the house. heh.Hope you had a great weekend!
P.s. anyone want to buy an EasyWalker Duo?? I'm selling the one we got.
