Book 'em, Baby

Our rooms in Honolulu that is! I just booked our hotel room for our stay in Oahu this July! Can I put a countdown to Hawai'i ticker now? hehe!
I found some AWESOME deals... pat on the back for my skills.
I don't think I blogged about it when I booked our tickets, but guess how much we paid for each of our roundtrip tickets to Oah'u? Come on, take a guess! $350? nope? $300? nope! How about $289.20 - tax and all the stupid fees included on Northwest Airlines. pretty awesome, huh?
So then my next dilemma was finding a pretty decent place for us to rest our travel weary heads on and a car to take our lil family around. I'm not picky, I just wanted a clean place for a good deal. Was it even possible??
But of course! I did a little research and found out that the Aqua Resorts has a special going on from now til the end of the year at most of their hotels called the 'Snooze & Crooze'. A package deal that includes a hotel room and a car... and complimentary parking at the hotel (ya, can you believe that ish? you have to pay for parking at the hotel you stay at! Most charge $18-$20 a day. Out-freaken-rageuos!)
The room I booked is at one of their boutique hotels and it has a lanai (balcony)! It'll be $115 a night WITH THE CAR & PARKING INCLUDED!
Oh! but get this - I also saw on their website that if you pay for the nights you reserved prior to your stay, then you can get up to 30% off. Hmmmm..ok. I didn't get the discount when I checked out. What's up with that?? So, I call the hotel and spoke with the manager. He kindly explained to me that since I already got a deal with the S&C package then I can't get 30% off. (Insert me thinking - Dang. Bummer) But he's still talking... However, I can knock 10 % off your bill!
Heck ya! give me that 10% off!
