OK - so I booked the hotel online and called the hotel to speak with the manager to get my discount (like he instructed me to).
Guess what? Instead of the 10% discount he said I could get, he gave me 20% off the bill! Whoo- hoo! even better, yo!
Love the manager at this hotel! And I'm pretty sure we won't get a janky room - the hotel went thru a massive renovation and it should be done by June. Yay!
