Christmas break, part one

It's been a while...Hello, blogland. Sorry I've been hanging out with my 2 lil men - quite the handful I must say. But so worth it since they give hugs, kisses and smiles in return. See? A rare smile from the emo baby! I wish I could say that my break from work was all smiles since I spent it with my boys, but sadly it was not. In my last post I asked for prayers and good vibes for my Tatang (my grandfather). Unfortunately he passed away and joined my Nanang (my grandma) on December 23, 2009. He was 88 years old, to some that is old, but we (my cousins and I) thought he'd live to be a 100 or longer. We joked that he must have cat genes since he seemed to have 9 lives - seriously, he's cheated death a number of times. We thought for sure he'd be able to leave the hospital again. Not this time....He was laid to rest on December 31, 2009.
Also during my time off, we visited the hubs' grandparents a couple of times. The kiddo always has a blast when we visit them. Not because they let him get away with anything and everything, but because he thinks they have the best, no I mean the BESTEST thing ever - their very own slot machine! What? you mean your grandparents don't have a Japanese slot machine in their home that dispenses quarters when you win the jackpot?Hey kiddo! you just got a three in a row! here lemme push the button so the money comes out.
Dude, I got it. Push this button so I can keep going.
I wish we had the video going when he won the jackpot - the machine started playing music and the quarters came ka-ching-chinging down! He did a lil happy dance & gleefully declared "I win!"
Think he's ready to win mama some money in Vegas?
