Beautiful, huh?
My boys using 'the force'...never mind that they are wearing their ninja shirts! Oh my silly boys!
Give my lil curly haired boy some arm floaties and he'll stay in the water the WHOLE afternoon. Thank goodness for long sleeved rash guards and 110 SPF sun block!
We swore we wouldn't go to any restaurants that we have in the mainland, but we couldn't help but stop by here to get ourselves a couple of haupia pies. If they served it locally for us...I'd be there all the time! Cute building, yes?
At one of the local beaches, I noticed this:
I may not be Miss Camper of the Year, but really? A tent in a tent? I don't get it! And no, it wasn't windy or raining or extremely hot that day. uhm, I guess - only in Hawaii?
Once we secured our tickets, I went on Groupon and Living Social looking for deals of places we might like to try out. About a week before we headed out, I got a Groupon for this place:
Best. Poke. EVER! And the people that run the place? Super nice! talk about aloha spirit! When the hubs mentioned we were visiting and that we had a certificate to use, they piled our plate lunches AND gave us a bunch of extra stuff that we didn't order. Only downfall - they are located about 30 minutes from the Waikiki area. But heck! I'd trek out to where they're at just for their poke. It was that good!

All that eating...I have yet to get on a scale to see what kind of damage the 4 days did to me, haha!
