My Friday Vent!

OK - so I have several vents today. You've been warned!

- First off - I KNOW I am most definately NOT ready to be parent of a teenager...just yet! We are 'babysitting' the hub's teenage cousins for the next 2 weeks. Their mother has gone to the Philippines 'unexpectedly' (note the qoutation marks? - that's a vent in itself, but I'm not even going to touch that right now!) Thank goodness, they don't do the eye rolling & back talking to us, well, at least not to me, maybe with the hubs since that's their cousin - hehe! They are your typical busy, busy teenagers! One is doing volleyball, the other is doing basketball AND is on his school's swim (or water polo?) team. Both attend schools in almost an hour away from our home. Different schools. Different times. I guess my vent with having active teenagers in our home is the schedules they have. Drive them here. Drive them there. Pick up so & so. Ooops! hurry up, so & so is gonna be late! Give me a few years, then I'll probably be ready to be a soccer mom. Right now though - - it's just to hard to be dragging the kiddo around to do things like that!

- Second vent? The sky rocketing price of gas! I paid $50 to fill up my tank! Jeepers! I know I shouldn't complain since I don't have a gas gulper like an Expedition, but see, that's the thing! I don't have a gas gulper! Gas prices are freaken insane!

-Third vent - Why can't I find a 24' beach cruiser bike!?!?! Because of my height, it's very uncomfortable for me to ride a ladies bike - so, I have to get a youth bike. Problem is that most youth bikes are so childish. Yep, pink & purple streamers hanging from the handle bars. No way will I be purchasing a bike that has a picture of a Bratz doll on it! I just want a youth size beach cruiser - -any color will do at this time. So, I've scoured the internet and guess what? We found one by a company called Electra. But I can't justifiy buying a $350 bike that I'll only use ocasionally! It's cute though, huh?
- Ok- final Friday vent. I work with some pretty lame people, who are so unappreciative of the things that I do for them. They power and most annoyingly, TITLE trip almost on a daily basis. When they (ok - he!) gets called out on something wrong that he's done, he'll flat out lie & say I did not provide him with the information, thus saving his butt and making me look incompetant. ooooohhhh! just grates me to see this person sometimes. Thank goodness my supervisor is such a great lady to work with - - she always corrects Mr. Lame-O Liar Butt.
Thanks for reading my random vents. Your turn! Comment me your vents. Trust me - - it feels good to get it out (^_^)

Totally feel your pain on the gas thing! I also have a Jeep, but my smart husband had to get the hemi engine...so mine is a gas gussler!! Over $60 for me to fill up today! *Insane* Good thing I don't drive very much! Thanks for posting my family album! That would be really cool if it sells! I'm thinking of other ideas to put up on my etsy account!
