Guam Vacay Part 3

We ended up having dinner at Fuji Ichiban. We ate there 3 years ago & the hubs could not stop raving about the fresh noodles they serve. Me? I was craving the kraage chicken.

Afterwards, we headed to the Duty Free Shoppers Galleria. Or as my Auntie F calls it, The Candy Store. hehe! We were really good - -we only went into 3 shops - Gucci (for me), Bvlgari (for the hubs) & Fendi (b/c we wanted to see how much they were asking for a Fendi stroller). Surprisingly, we left empty handed.
On day 3, we woke up bright and early to go to Ypao Beach Park. Isn't it beautiful?!

Peace out, brown! I'm going in!The kiddo had a blast! The water was nice and warm, but best of all it was very calm. Even though it was calm, it was a good thing we put the life vest on him...he kept trying to walk deeper & deeper. I tell ya, that clear water really made him think he was in a kiddy pool!

After the kiddo & the hubs had their fill of the Pacific Ocean, we realized that we forgot to bring the kiddo's milk! Yikes! Worked out for the kiddo though. He got to have a treat since there were no whole milk at the store we stopped at. He got chocolate milk instead. OMG! did he LOVE it!

We decided to head back home to grab his milk & juice before venturing out again. As soon as we got back to my parent's place, the kiddo was asleep. We decided let him take his nap while we had some Vietnamese spring rolls for lunch. You know, even the Vietnamese spring rolls on Guam are different. Either way, they're pretty yummy in my book.

When the kiddo woke up, we decided to visit the Sirena statue. Sirena is a legendary mermaid of Guam. Click here for her story. The park where the statue was at was eerily quiet. It kinda freaked me out a bit, especially since the park is right by a main road.

Afterwards, we visited the fort by the Governor's House. See that church? That's the Dulce Nombre de Maria Cathedral-Basilica

The kiddo was 'flirting' with some Chinese tourists that were there too.

We left the fort & headed to the Latte Stone Park. The kiddo is all smiles b/c Grandpa carries him ALL the time!

As we drove around, we could resist stopping for a photo op with this carabao (water buffalo) statue.

We found another one, so we stopped and took more pics!

My Auntie F took us out to dinner that night, but prior to that, we went to visit my grandpa (on my mom's side). He's 80 yrs old, is now legally blind and lives by himself w/2 cats. The kiddo sat on his lap & babbled away, but as soon as his Great Grandpa gave him some $$, the kiddo was done with him...What a lil bugger!

The kiddo tired himself out that day, so my dad stayed home with him as me, the hubs, Auntie F, Auntie D & my mom headed out to....Jamaican Grill! ya mon! The place is a local favorite and i LOVE, LOVE the food there! My mouth is watering just typing about it. We went to the Tumon location and opted to eat indoors since it was sprinkling on and off (surprise, surprise) Perfect way to cap off Day 3!
