Confession....

Bleh - I suck at keeping this blog up to date. It's been so long since our trip to Hawaii that I've decided not to continue the recap of our trip. Just trust me when I say it was nothing but eating, eating, eating! Somewhere I have a list I compiled BEFORE the trip of places I wanted to eat at - if you're going to Oahu and want it, just ask and I'll be more than happy to share with you.
Ok - that being said - I was going to do one of my random blah blah list to get you caught up, but decided I wanted to write about something else.

About a month ago, the hubs and I decided to get a minivan. You cringing? Feeling sorry for me? well don't. I LOVE it! I dunno how I've gone this long with two kiddos and not have a van! Lucky for us, we got an awesome deal on our 2010 Honda Odyssey EX-L. It was the last one in the lot and they were really trying to clear out the 2010 models, so they knocked down quite a bit and then worked with us to give us an even better deal. Sweet!
But the real reason (and some of you already know this)I gave up driving my beloved Honda Element is because....
We are expecting our third child on or around May 3, 2011!
Yes, if you are wondering, totally not planned. In fact, the weekend prior to finding out, I was calling folks up asking them if they wanted any of the baby items (stroller, carrier, bassinet, etc).
I was very tempted to make an announcement on Facebook, but when I hinted about it on my profile, one person commented, "YOU'RE PREGNANT AGAIN??!?!" yep, in caps and maybe I read it all wrong, but I was somewhat offended by the 'again' in her comment. What? like it's wrong to have a third child? I dunno...maybe I was just being sensitive but this person has made some snide comments to me in the past, so I'm not putting it past her to be all bitchy about it.
I quickly deleted my pregnancy hint and since then have not so much as breathed that I am expecting (except for the gals on the private group I belong to- they've known since the day I found out -love you girlies!)
So here I am - 18 weeks along! almost half way done with this pregnancy. The baby is a lively one - kicking, rolling, stretching...giving me heartburn and insomnia! ahh the joys...
I brought the kiddo with me to the last appointment and when the doctor found the heartbeat, she said, 'You hear that? that's the baby in mommy's tummy.' His response? 'yah, that's my sister Cutie Pie. But you can call her Bob." He cracks me up!
I wonder how disappointed he'll be if the baby turns out to be another baby BROTHER? hehe! We find out on December 16th. eeeee! just a couple more weeks!
